1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Pingin, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Use of the Platform

• You must be 13 years of age or older to use Pingin.
• You are responsible for the content you submit, including essays and profile information.
• Do not submit content that is plagiarized, illegal, or harmful to others.
• AI feedback is for educational guidance only - it does not guarantee college admission outcomes.

3. Credits and Payments

• Credits are purchased and consumed as described on the Plans page.
• Credits are non-refundable once consumed (i.e., once AI analysis or mentor review has been delivered).
• Subscription credits reset monthly and do not roll over.
• Pingin reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice.

4. Mentor Reviews

• Mentors are verified college students or recent graduates. Pingin does not guarantee specific acceptance outcomes.
• Mentor turnaround time is typically 24–48 hours but not guaranteed.
• If a mentor does not deliver feedback within 72 hours, contact support for a credit refund.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the essays and materials you submit. By submitting, you grant Pingin a limited license to process your content for the purpose of delivering AI feedback and mentor reviews. We do not use your essays to train AI models without explicit consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

Pingin is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the platform, college application outcomes, or mentor feedback. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including misuse of AI tools, abuse of the mentor system, or fraudulent payment activity.
